this has to have been the busiest christmas season ever for me. it was like i was going non stop for an entire month. and we didn't even put up our christmas tree! i think we went to disney at least 6 times this month. both with family and friends and alone, just to take in all the holiday sights. we saw the castle lights and fireworks up close, the candlelight processional (TWICE!), the osborne dancing lights (5 million!!) and took a backstage tour!! that was just Disney. we also visited the gaylord palms ICE! exhibit again this year. below are just a few pics (my camera died shortly after entering) that I took with our friend Max. if you're ever in Orlando during the holiday season, this short exhibit really is something to behold. Chinese artisans carve millions of pounds of ice into different displays, including a crystal clear, life-size, solid ice nativity. very cooL!!! literally... as in 9 degrees!!!

for all of those who can't see what Cinderella's Castle looks like in person, here is a pic of the castle covered with the christmas lights....this was the first year they did this! it was such a big hit, i have a feeling this will be a regular addition to disney christmases in the future.. just a guess...
